         When was the last time you had a really BIG idea? One that blew the doors off the competition and made you the clear market leader in your town!

            Effective marketing is a whole lot more than just producing websites, direct mail and print ads. It’s more than branding, social media and making sales calls. First and foremost great marketing, the kind that can change a company’s entire fortunes, economy be dammed, is all about the ‘Big Idea!’ The creative, innovative, strategic idea that connects emotionally in the mind of your customer and then goes viral, creating a torrent of new leads and business for you!

Most marketing companies, especially in the golf industry don’t have any big ideas. If fact they don’t have any ideas creative at all. Instead the golf industry is plagued by a bunch of copy cats pumping out low quality template websites and template emails, selling websites and social media strategy as if they where a commodity item.  Fortunately for you (I assume if you read this newsletter you are smarter than the average bear) there are plenty of customers willing to take a low end digital solution or trade for tee times who are not smart enough to seriously look at the marketing options available to them or the lost opportunity cost of doing business with second rate talent! Great marketing is founded on great ideas and strategies, the websites, social media channels and ads are just the delivery vehicles that get your message out. While most do a poor job or creating a truly multi channel marketing plan even those that do are thwarted by a second rate message, YOU NEED A BIG IDEA!

I have been smart enough or lucky enough to come up with a bunch of BIG ideas, ideas that have transformed the fortunes of companies, often in a matter of weeks.
